I know how important it is to have give them lots of love whilst you're away. My five chihuahuas  (Wilma, Betty, Barney, Fred and Pebbles) are my whole heart and the reason why bedrock manor exists!

I've spent the last 20 years surrounded by animals. Dogs, cats, rabbits and even 2 kids!

Over time it became really clear that small breeds have a special place in my heart. They're sensitive little souls, that need lots of love and to feel comfortable and safe whilst their Dog Parents are away!

That's what Bedrock Manor is. Not a kennel. Not a house full of strange dogs. Just your little dogs , me, and my little pack to look after  like my own.

Here's the truth... I know what it feels like to leave your little babies  somewhere and spend the whole holiday quietly worrying. So I built Bedrock Manor to be the kind of place I'd happily leave my own and with someone you can really trust. 

That means one family at a time.  No revolving door of strangers, no group walks -  no sharing me with anyone else. Just your little ones sticking to their normal routine and sleeping somewhere calm and quiet.

Trial before you commit.

A gentle introduction before you ever commit is a must.

My five chihuahuas are the official greeters... sociable little souls,  who are very used to small visitors coming and going. But every dog is their own person, so I always do a trial introduction before any booking is confirmed. A meeting on mutual ground is advised  for a short walk and i do encourage a trial night overnight stay.

It gives them a chance to sniff each other out properly, and it gives you a chance to see the house, meet the gang, and decide if we feel like home.

No pressure at all.

A cosy home, a secure garden, and their own private bedroom

Bedrock Manor is a cosy, lived-in family home. Soft sofas, a fully secure garden, and some of the most beautiful woodland walks right on the doorstep.

Your dog/s have their own dedicated boarders' bedroom — two windows, tiled floors, proper luxury beds, and their own quiet little feeding spot. It's their safe space whenever they want it. Though I'll be honest, most of my boarders spend a polite five minutes in there and the rest of their stay glued to me on the sofa. Which is exactly how I like it.

Their normal routine, kept exactly as you like it

I follow your dogs routine, not mine. Before they arrive, we have a proper chat about meal times, walks, naps, favourite toys, the things that scare them, the treats they live for. Then I do everything I can to keep their days feeling familiar.

Expect a lovely long walk (or a gentle poodle, depending on what suits them), plenty of garden time, lots of one-to-one cuddles, and a very generous amount of sofa time with me. Whatever they need to feel safe, settled and loved.

Daily photos & updates so you can switch off and enjoy your holiday

I know how much you'll miss your baby when you're away, so I send real updates. Photos, little videos, sweet stories about what they've been up to that day. You can get them via WhatsApp, email, or my Scritches online portal (whichever works best for you).
