Do you only board small dogs

At Bedrock Manor, we specialise in caring for small dogs weighing up to 7kg, including breeds such as Chihuahuas, Dachshunds, Toy and Miniature Poodles, Pomeranians and Shih Tzus.

As a small-dog specialist, I understand just how different their needs can be. I have five Chihuahuas of my own, so I know first-hand how important it is for little dogs to feel safe, comfortable and understood.

Our facilities and approach to care are specifically designed with small dogs in mind, allowing us to provide a calm, secure and personal home-from-home experience for every little guest.

However this is negotiable, please get in touch -  if the fit is right and the trial goes well..  we do have a dedicated boarding area 

Will my dog be left alone during their stay?

No. At Bedrock Manor, your dog is never left unattended. We provide 24-hour care, so there is always someone here with our guests.

Your dog will have constant companionship, supervision and care throughout their stay, giving you peace of mind that they are safe, settled and never alone.

Can my dog keep their usual routine?

Absolutely. At Bedrock Manor, we believe that keeping your dog’s usual routine helps them feel comfortable, settled and at home.

We will work around your dog’s normal meal times, exercise routine, sleeping arrangements and individual needs as much as possible. When your dog arrives, we’ll go through their routine with you and complete an arrival checklist and care plan, which I will follow throughout their stay.

Every dog is different, so we take the time to understand what works best for your dog and keep their routine as familiar as possible while they’re with us.

Can I see where my dog will be staying before booking?

Absolutely. We encourage you to come and visit Bedrock Manor before booking. We can arrange a personal visit, meet and greet and a walk, giving you the opportunity to see where your dog will be staying and meet some of our resident dogs.

I want both you and your dog to feel completely comfortable before their stay. Taking the time to meet beforehand helps your dog become familiar with the surroundings, the smells and the people here, making their eventual stay a little easier.

For me, it needs to feel right for you and your dog. Your peace of mind is just as important as their comfort.

What makes Bedrock Manor different from a traditional kennel?

Bedrock Manor is a true home-from-home boarding experience, rather than a traditional kennel environment.

We believe your dog should feel like they are coming on holiday, not being put into kennels. We follow your dog’s usual routine, including their meal times, exercise and individual needs, so as little as possible changes while they are away from home.

Each guest has their own premium-style doggy bedroom, while also having the freedom to enjoy the comfort of the house. There are plenty of opportunities for playtime, cuddles and snuggles on the sofa, as well as companionship throughout the day.

Most importantly, we provide 24-hour care. Your dog is never left unattended and is treated as one of the family throughout their stay.

At Bedrock Manor, it’s all about creating a safe, comfortable and loving home-from-home where both you and your dog can relax knowing they’re in good hands.

Can I bring my dog's own bed, toys or belongings

Absolutely! You’re very welcome to bring your dog’s favourite bed, blanket, toys or any other belongings that help them feel comfortable and settled.

That said, we’ve got you covered at Bedrock Manor. We have our own luxury doggy beds, toys, leads and even secure transport seat belts for our little guests.

We know that familiar items can help dogs feel at home, so if there’s something special your dog loves, bring it along — we’ll make sure they’re as comfortable and happy as possible during their stay.

Do you take puppies and older dogs

Yes, absolutely! At Bedrock Manor, we can accommodate dogs of all ages, from young puppies to our more senior guests.

Every dog is different, so we take the time to understand their individual needs, routine and personality to make sure they feel comfortable and well cared for during their stay.

I also have an app showing my live availability, so you can check dates, but I always recommend getting in touch with me directly first. I’d love to have a chat, find out a little more about you and your dog, and make sure Bedrock Manor is the right fit for you both.

From there, we can discuss your dog’s needs, your preferred dates and everything you need to know before confirming your booking.
